I have noticed something strange happening in Jaipur. Many old parks are being renovated, but in several places the boundary walls were already in good condition. Still, they were demolished and rebuilt using almost the same material. I saw this near Varun Path police station close to New Sanganer Road. The park boundary wall had no visible damage, but officials first broke it and then rebuilt it again. The same thing is happening at Rajat Path in Mansarovar. The wall was already fine, but now they are removing parts of it and adding new iron fencing. If something is already in good shape, then why rebuild it again using public money? This does not look like development. It looks like unnecessary work and possible corruption. Is anyone else in Jaipur noticing the same pattern?
