Why do we still call it 'good girl' behavior?

Why do we still call it 'good girl' behavior?

It's a phrase we hear all the time, from parents, in movies, and even from friends. But what does it really mean? When a girl is called 'good', is it about her actual goodness, or just her compliance? And why is this label so different for boys? If a boy is 'good', it often means he's responsible or kind. If a girl is 'good', it often means she didn't get a boyfriend or she didn't cause any trouble. isn't this putting a lot of pressure on young women to fit into a predefined role instead of just being themselves? What do you think we should call it instead? Is it even fair to label it at all?
