Is the pressure to be the 'perfect' Indian daughter-in-law crushing modern women?

"Is the pressure to be the 'perfect' Indian daughter-in-law crushing modern women?" The image of the ideal Indian daughter-in-law often involves a blend of traditional virtues and modern sensibilities. We're expected to be respectful of elders, manage household responsibilities, cook delicious meals, and also maintain a career and personal aspirations. It's a balancing act that feels increasingly impossible for many. Are these expectations fair in today's world, or are we setting ourselves up for disappointment trying to fit into a mold that no longer exists? What sacrifices are too much to ask of a woman in the name of family harmony?
