I'm noticing more of my friends are saying yes. One met her partner through a coffee meet-up, another through a dating app, and another is getting married to someone they've been chatting with online for 3 years. They're still marrying, but the process looks completely different from our parents' generation. Is this what we mean by arranged marriages evolving? Or are we just calling it something else we're more comfortable with? And a question for the married ones: When you explained your partner to your family, was the reaction surprise, or just 'I should have known'? What does this mean for tradition and personal choice in our relationships?
